This DNA project is open to anyone with the surname Farrell or any of its possible variants, including Farley, Farr, Frawley, etc.

Jim Denning was Project Administrator from 2005 to 2014 and the current Project Administrator is Maurice Gleeson.

The primary goal of this project is to help members identify to which genetic family they belong in order to facilitate and encourage collaboration between members in their genealogical research. Such research will help benefit the entire group by shedding light on the origins, distribution, and history of the Farrell surname throughout the world.
