Ian Goldfoot found my blog of Goldfoot genealogy findings at: http://goldfoot_genealogy.blogspot.com and telephoned me from Houston, Texas. I was put in contact with his sister Denise in South Africa and her cousin Dave there. Ian and my brother, David Goldfoot are doing a DNA 25 point test now to see if we are connected. My grandfather, Nathan Goldfoot, had left "Russia" and had gone to England with a brother or brothers. From there he went onto USA; Idaho and then Oregon. His brother or brothers may have been the Goldfoots who went to Ireland, then South Africa, and Stanley Goldfoot went on to Israel. Our name must have been Goldfus originally.
