A Surname Study of Munday and variants Mundy, Monday, Mundie, and Mundey.
The project has started as a sister project after it was discovered (a) that many in North America have traced their roots to early-colonial Virginia, and (b) are DNA matching with the John Hord family group and others in that geographical vicinity. So the project has started to collect and autosomal analyze the Munday's we have and then try to better understand the matching with the other surnames in the same place and time in 1600's Virginia. We are open to all with the surname and yDNA tested to help understand and explore your name history and origin as well as those with autosomal (FamilyFinder) that have the surname in their pedigree.
