Our objective is looking for common ancestral relationships within various geographical areas where the early Freeman surname evolved as well as looking for possible common ancestral ties among Freeman line in other geographical areas. We also solicit participation of Freeman males from Great Britain and western Europe to help find our world wide familial ties. An outline pedigree from the earliest known ancestor is also required for participation in the project. PLEASE NOTE: this project is a Y-DNA Project, and is not an traditional genealogical research endeavor. The Y-DNA test is an integral part of this projects focus. Additionally, we do not compile any data for the mtDNA or Autosomal Family Finder test.
