The SHIRLEY/SHERLEY/SHURLEY/ DNA Project will perform the Y-DNA Test on males with the SHIRLEY surname or bloodline. This project was initiated by the Shirley Association for additional Genealogical Research purposes. Please visit our webpage about this project for more details. You do not need to be a member of the Shirley Association to join this project. We invite you to participate as we explore the research of SHIRLEYs through DNA.

NOTE: If you decide to join the Shirley surname DNA project, then please toggle to "opt in" to publicly showing your DNA marker results. Your personal details, name, address etc. will never be shown publicly. Markers will be labeled using your Kit number only. If participants choose to hide their personal DNA marker results, then quite frankly, there are few reasons for our DNA research project to continue. Please include your basic Shirley ancestry (as known to you) in your Project Join Request.
