TOWNE/TOWN/TOWNES/TOWNS/Tune surname project, with particular interest in the descendants of William and Joanna (Blessing) Towne who came to America from Great Yarmouth, England and settled in Salem, MA about 1635. Other patriarchal lines will be denoted as they're determined. Surname Toone is now a separate project, and we encourage Toones to join there.
