Wren/Wrenn Surname Project

This is a surname specific project. We use Y-STR (Paternal) markers to identify Wren/Wrenn families by paternal ancestors for the surnames:

Wren, Wrenn, Wrene, Wrenne, Renn, Renne, Wrinn, Wrinne, Wrin, Wrynn, Wrynne, or variations.

We also accept Family Finder results for anyone with Wren/Wrenn heritage. So if you have a Wren or someone with one of the surname variations in your lineage, you are welcome to join. There is no guarantee that this will yield helpful information, but it's worth a try.

At this time, there does NOT appear to be any relationship with the Wrenshaw, Renshaw, Rinshaw or Rencher surnames. Please see the appropriate project for help with those surnames or their variants.
