Adkins/ATKINS of all spelling variations are welcome to join the project. Only males have Y-chromosomes, so only males can trace male lines. Females need a male ADKINS/ATKINS relative's sample to trace your surname line. Males & females can trace their maternal line with an mtDNA test. We can post the results here. To participate meaningfully, it will help if you share your ancestry back to the earliest known direct male line either in the form of a pedigree chart or preferably, an uploaded GEDCOM.
