The Anabaptist Family Finder Project will concentrate on allowing genealogists to utilize autosomal DNA results from Family Finder to investigate ancestors which were members of Anabaptist groups such as the Amish, Mennonite, River Brethren, Moravians, and Hutterites. Individuals who have 18th-21st century Anabaptist ancestors in their tree may join and contribute their results to the research comparison effort. If your Anabaptist ancestry can be traced to the Mennonite families who settled in Poland or Prussia in the 1500's and 1600's, you may wish to consider joining the Low German Mennonite DNA Project.
