All ARMSTRONG male Y-DNA testees are welcome to join the project, and those via other surnames who closely match Armstrong Y-DNA, either as a result of an adoption or an NPE, are also welcome. If you are female, ask a male ARMSTRONG relative to submit a sample for your line. To participate meaningfully, testees will need to share their direct male line ancestry back to their earliest known ARMSTRONG, either in the form of a pedigree chart, or preferably, family group sheets. Please exclude living people. ARMSTRONG-born ladies, please note: there is a related mtDNA study in which you can participate if you wish. You can join that study by ordering an mtDNA kit through this project.
