The Ashpole, Ashpool and Ashbolt DNA Study is intended to complement and extend the research into the names undertaken by the Ashpole One-Name Study. That study has connected almost everybody associated with the names to five pedigrees. The DNA Study now seeks to reduce this number by identifying genetic links between the pedigrees leading to more targeted documentary research.
