This Project is for members who belong to Bany Tamem Tribe who mainly lives in Arabia (Middle East). The Bany Tamem Family Project encourages researchers to find their common heritage through sharing of information and DNA testing. Bani Tamim or Banu Tamim or Banu Tameem (Arabic: ??? ?????) is one of the largest of all Arab tribes. The tribe's history goes back to pre-Islamic times, a sister-clan of Quraysh. Today millions descend from the tribe in the Arabian Peninsula and neighboring countries such as Iraq , Jordan , Syria , Egypt , Palestine , Iran and Afghanistan .
