THIS IS THE CORRECT BONDURANT-TANNER DESCENDANTS DNA PROJECT. (The DNA Project listed directly ABOVE this one as "Bondurant" in the FTDNA Projects list is a Y-DNA ONLY Project, and is intended ONLY FOR MEN who carry the Bondurant surname and have done a Y-DNA test.) THIS project, the Bondurant-Tanner Descendants DNA Project, is an autosomal DNA project designed to examine the DNA test results of EVERYONE, including men who have the Bondurant surname, who are descended from the Huguenot immigrant, John Peter (Jean Pierre) Bondurant (1677 France - 1734 Colonial Virginia) and his wife, Ann Tanner. We would like to identify as many living descendants as we can find, have them do the Family Finder autosomal DNA test (or transfer their results from an autosomal DNA test done with another company to FTDNA) and join this project. This will help us to discover how we are related to one another, and to confirm the branch of descendants to which each of us belong.
