The Cantabria DNA Project seeks to explore the genetic composition of those whose ancestry (either paternal or maternal) can be traced to the region of Cantabria, in northern Spain. Delighted to share information between people from Cantabria, the Basque Country, Asturias and Northern Castilla. The most common haplogroups are R-M269, R-M198, E-M81. In particular, two haplogroups R-Z93 and E-PF2546 are interesting in this area, which are in the minority in Spain and yet are representative in some places in this area.
