This project was created to assist members in exploring their historical and more recent Cenél nEógain connections. 

The project groups have been organized based upon R-S588 DNA haplogroups. Some of the groups are associated with specific Cenél nEógain septs using surnames that are historically associated with a clan and their geographic locations. Historical Irish documents and the Irish Annals reference many of these septs and provide genealogical lineages..

A goal is to align the traditional genealogy with the DNA results and to share this information with the group.
