Thus far, it appears the Chance(y), Chauncey, Chancery lines are distinct.  It is also apparent, the surname was used freely at will and often times subject to spelling modifications by some family groups.

More samples are needed! If you know of anyone whom is not directly related to our existing sample participants but have a variation of the surname, please encourage their participation.
