We hope to establish whether a connection exists between the various Chaves/Chavez or Caceres surnames. We are also interested in identifying more details about what parts of the world the family originated. For instance, did they originate in Spain, or Portugal, or perhaps some other portion of Southern Europe?

Additionally, we hope to tie families back together and help establish family history.
