About us
The Coddington DNA Project welcomes all men bearing the surnames Coddington, Codington, and Corrington. Men bearing variations of these surnames are also welcome. We also welcome men bearing other surnames, like "Coryell," who match Coddingtons.
We especially welcome descendants of Stockdale Coddington (1569-1650), particularly Stockdale's grandson John Coddington (1653-After 1715). Stockdale (1569) was born in Bletchingley, Surrey, England. He emigrated to Boston about 1640 and died in what is now New Hampshire. His grandson John (1653) was born in Boston but moved to Woodbridge, NJ. He is believed to be the progenitor of the NJ Coddingtons.
An excellent online Coddington family tree that is maintained by Jonathan Coddington, "Descendants of Stockdale Coddington," can be found here:

We also welcome Coddingtons of non-Stockdale lines, including those from the Lincolnshire, Cheshire, and Irish Coddington lines.
