About us
The purpose of this study is to identify CORDER lineages and to assist individuals in ascertaining their relationships to each other, as well as linking American Corder lineages back to their origins in Europe.
When you join the project, please submit your direct line of Corder descent to your project administrators and be sure to upload your Gedcom to your member page, or build out a family tree for your Corder lineage using the FTDNA Family Tree builder.
Please only include the Earliest Known Ancestor (EKA) that you are able to prove. Please do not include speculative or undocumented information. The point of this project is to let the Y-DNA prove our connections, not to speculate about them beyond what our paper trail is able to prove.
Example formatting for EKA: WILLIAM CORDER 1777-1835 Chester Co SC
