The goal of the DNA testing is to identify which line the Cory/Corey's today descend from. Hopefully with the on going genealogical research and the DNA project we can put together a source evidence trail to each correct ancestor and discover/prove lines of descent.
Further long term goals would coordinate the USA project with other DNA projects in the country of origin, enabling us to further determine where in England, Scotland, Ireland, etc. each of these Cory/Corey ancestors originated from. The William Cory descendants all are WAMH. Because they are WAMH we recommend known descendants test at the 67 marker test level.
