New Confirmations for the T-Y3833 De La Rosa Lineage
2 new branches have been tested and their Y-DNA results makes the confirmation absolutly robust.
All four branches have been found to belong to the T-Y3833 Lineage
The common Ancestor to all four tested documental cousins is: Juan de La Rosa
Juan de La Rosa is now save to say that he belonged to the T-Y3833 subclade ( s. XVI )
Additionally have been tested other De La Rosa lineages from the Iberian Peninsula and their results are as follows:
De La Rosa from Totana ( modern surname carried: Rosa ): G-PF3239 ( known genealogy until s. XVII )
De La Rosa from Nava del Rey ( modern surname carried: De La Rosa ): E-P177 ( known genealogy until s. XIX )
De La Rosa from Codo ( modern surname carried: Larrosa ): R-DF13 ( known genealogy until s. XIX )

Good News for our Project;
The first ancient De la Rosa individual and the most ancient ancestor of any Iberian pedigree confirmed by modern Y-DNA up to date.
Oldest Iberian Pedigree confirmed by Y-DNA
This finding is the result of the match between Esteban Rosa and Mark Rosa Y-DNA both descend of Juan de la Rosa, first De la Rosa generation in Vera, belonging to the 2nd wave of settlers and coming from Lorca.
