About us
Several English and Germanic Doss families have emigrated to America in the past 400 years. The Doss DNA Project’s goals are to (1) determine the unique haplotypes of each Doss immigrant, and (2) identify those of each distinct English and Germanic family. This information, used in conjunction with research conducted by dozens of descendants, will enable us to forge a genetic link with our European kin, previously unattainable through research in historic documents, and help us to firmly establish our immigrant origins.
