The Goals of the DSP are:

1. To assist each DSP participant discover her and his ancestral lines and to confirm them using genetic genealogy as each participant decides is necessary;
2. To research documentary proof of each member of each branch of the Family Groups of Pierre; Jean; Louis; Antoine; and Joseph and to confirm those members using genetic genealogy as each participant decides is necessary;
3. To research documentary proof of each patrilineal line of the Family Groups of Francoise; Rosalie; and Marie Therese and to confirm those members using genetic genealogy as each participant decides is necessary;
4. To research documentary proof of Denis; Joseph; and Claude's siblings and their ancestors in France; and
   
5. To determine which of the possible variant surnames are actual Duquet/Duquette variants and where and when they arose, if possible.
