About us
We have several objectives for our DNA project. The primary objective is to assist DURHAM familes from all over the world in finding lines of descent,common ancestors, and related families.
One of our initial objectives with the study was to see if there is a family relationship among the many DURHAMS of colonial Virginia. And we have proven and will continue to prove that there were several different DURHAM families in early VA.
We will also try to determine what relationship exist between the early DURHAMS in Europe and the DURHAMS that migrated to America later.
In addition we will try to establish what connection North American DURHAMS have with DURHAMS still living in the British Isles and other parts of the world.
