DURKIN, DURKAN, DURCAN, and any other reasonable spelling variations are welcome to join the project. Although any person, male or female, who has a DURKIN ancestor is welcome to join this project, the project will focus on Y-DNA results from males with the surname DURKIN (or variant). Females with a male DURKIN relative are encouraged to have their male relative submit a sample for the DURKIN line. To participate meaningfully, testees will need to share their ancestry back to the earliest known DURKIN ancestor and their location.
