The East Anglia Geographic DNA Project is for those whose ancestry traces to the East Anglia region in England. It includes the counties of Suffolk & Norfolk; plus eastern Cambridgeshire, northern Essex, & SE Lincolnshire JOINING the PROJECT 1. Requests to join need to be made after signing in on the FTDNA website, and include a brief outline of some family history in East Anglia. 2. Most Distant Known Ancestor information under Set Up Preferences on your individual FTDNA results page needs to be completed with name, baptism or birth and location in East Anglia. (e.g. George Thurlow, b1725 Brockford SFK). 3. FTDNA has made the default setting for access of new member samples, by the project administrators, and is a 'read only for administrators', this is the lowest access level accepted in the project.
