The first Y-DNA25 test results arrived 29 April 2005. To date most of men are descended from George Soule's son George. Several others descended from George Soule's son Nathaniel have joined this project. Descendants through George Soule's son John should equal in number the descendants combined through George Soule's two sons, George and Nathaniel. So far, all the test results for loci 1-25 have been identical or changed by one locus.
