GOALS
The goals of the H39 and Subclades Haplogroup mtDNA Project are to promote enthusiasm and discussion of haplogroup H39 and its spread at various points from prehistory to the modern day. This project aims to apply ancient DNA analysis for the express purpose of promoting discussion in conjunction with developing a space for genetic genealogy in a hobby capacity. Administration of this project and pursuit of the project's goals as a hobbyist space are done in full compliance with FamilyTreeDNA policy. Any and all individuals who carry haplogroup H39 are encouraged to join the project!
