The Hart DNA Surname Project has 163 participants with 163 test packets returned. We have one group of ten participants who are descendants of Deacon Stephen Hart, the progenitor of many Harts in the U.S. and North America. With the DNA of those individuals we deduced the ancestral DNA of Deacon Stephen Hart. There are participants who have found matches with other participants and are joined into groups. My group's common ancestor is John Hart,Sr. b. c1720, Virginia. We have thirteen participants and are looking for more. Everyone in our group is a active researcher.
