About us
The Hudson/Hutson DNA Project was established to help identify and connect, where possible, the numerous Hudson (& variants) families throughout the world. Y-DNA testing is for the tester's paternal male ancestry; mtDNA is for the tester's maternal female ancestry. Family Finder autosomal DNA testing is particularly valuable when paired with one's Y-DNA &/or mtDNA testing. Autosomal testing helps identify the tester's relatives within about 4-6 generations.
In order to join the Project, data on the donor's personally documented Hudson, Hutson etc. line(s) is required. These data are crucial to pair with DNA results. In addition, the tester's DNA results and genetic matches should be posted to the tester's personal Kit pages at FTDNA.
