About us
In the WTY-project, FTDNA discovered eight new subclades for haplogroup I1d (L22+):
I1d2 (SNP L205): ChrY:13987138...13987138,ancestral A derived T; found in L22-N people from the Netherlands and the UK
I1d3 (SNP L287): ChrY:7460134... 7460134, ancestral G derived A; found in L22-Bothnian people(from Finland)
I1d3a (SNP L258): ChrY:20352014...20352014,ancestral G derived A; found in L22-Bothnian people (from Finland)
SNP L296: ChrY:20199577...20199577,ancestral G derived A; found in some L22-Bothnian people who are L258+
I1d4 (SNP L300): ChrY:20352144...20352144:ancestral T derived C; found in L22-N people from Finland
SNP L813: ChrY: 7719777 …7719777,ancestral A derived to G; found in L22-uN2 people
SNP L137.2: ChrY: 10401250 …10401250,ancestral G derived to A; found in one L813+ man
SNP L1431 (ChrY 13935357: G to C), L1438 (ChrY 15809169: A to C) and L1439 (ChrY 20896511:C to A) are found in aFrench WTY-participant who is P109+

L205+ people are L22-N and till now from the Netherlands and the UK. The MRCA is about 1200 years.
L287+ people are from Finland. It seems to be the oldest Finnish I1d type.
L258 is a subclade from L287. The MRCA is about 1680 years.
L296 seems to be a subclade from L258.
L300+ people are also from Finland. It is a new subclade from haplogroup I1d (L22+).
L1431 and L1438 are a new subclade from haplogroup I1d1 (P109+)
From Lauri Koskinen (admin of the Finland DNA project) I recieved his new Finnish types of I1d (L22):
Type 1: the oldest Finnish I1d type: L22+,L287+,L258-,L296-,L300-
Type 2: The most common Finnish I1d type: L22+,L287+, L258+, L296-,L300-
Type 3: L22+,L287+,L258+ L296+,L300-
Type 4: L22+,L300+,L287-,L258-,L296- / DYS 413 a,b = 23,24
