About us
This project is about the Jewish diaspora of Iran spanning from the time of Cyrus the Great and the freedom of the Jewish people from Babylonian exile to present day. Other Jewish groups post the Babylonian exile moved in an out of what is now modern day Iran and have left their genetic footprint on the population.
This project is about mapping the Persian Jewish families to one another, establishing the interaction it has had over time with other Jewish groups, validating its continuous presence throughout the Persian Empire and Iran with its rich and diverse experiences and pinpointing its history through DNA.
