About us
A small number of Johns families were in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia about the time of the American Revolution. In the 1780s and 1790s, many of these families moved to Kentucky and Tennessee. In the early 1800s some of these descendants moved to Illinois, Indiana and Missouri.
Unfortunately there are many gaps in Early American Records that make it difficult to prove family connections.
