There are many things that we currently hope to learn from this study. We have already defined sixteen distinct Langley Lineages, a number of which appear to be related in varying degrees. We currently have thirty-three members in the Langley Project and others have been contacted through Y-Search to join us. We are all hoping to learn more about our genetic roots and some of us are also interested in our deep ancestry. Through this Project, we hope to learn how we are connected to other Langleys around the world. A Website has been created to discuss our various Langley lines; our successes and our brickwalls. This is also an excellent place for people who are considering DNA testing to ask questions. If you have not already joined, we invite you to do so. We anticipate an increase in the pace of new participants entering the Langley Project as our success stories are told and more genealogists become aware of the utility of this new tool.
