The results from our first four volunteers, two from the Thomas Leavitt line (a Hampton,NH family and a Scarborough,ME one) and two from Deacon John's family (descendants of sons Nehemiah and Josiah) showed us the following: 1) the Scarborough Leavitt's DO descend from the Hampton family or are closely connected genetically and 2) immigrants Thomas and John were NOT related.
