This DNA project is intended to see if the 'Thomas Lincoln the miller' line is related to the president's, and also will serve to connect 'unknown' Lincolns to their lineage by DNA testing. This will enable them to focus their 'paper trail' research efforts on their ancestor and possibly learn their lineage. Thus I hope to be able to determine how the various Lincolns were related in England prior to their emigration.
NOTE:  PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THIS PROJECT UNLESS YOU ARE A MALE LINCOLN, or submitting Y-DNA on behalf of a male Lincoln.  This project is dedicated to Y-DNA testing only, which is passed on only through males.  If you sign up for the Y-DNA test and are not a male Lincoln by birth or genetic heritage, or representing one with a sample, you will be removed from the project.
