DNA is used to assist family members with documented ancestry confirm their kinship and others to genetically link with their past by taking a simple, painless test.
This study is limited to males whose direct paternal line has the family surname Maleore, Mallery, Mallore, Mallorie, Malory, Mallory, Malry and/or similar derivatives worldwide. Kinship to families with known ancestry is not required.
Mallorys worldwide are encouraged to participate in this collaborative effort.
From England, our surname and its derivatives can be traced to Bermuda and the American Colonies.
In 1644, Peter Mallory signed the Planter's Oath at New Haven, Connecticut. In 1695, the Chickahominy Indians conveyed 6,160 acres on Virginia's Pamunkey Neck to Roger Mallory. Over three centuries later, we believe they may have passed down clues to our ancestry -- their DNA.
