The goal of this project is that we can identify different McFall/McFalls groups in order that cousins can share information and research. The project will also help correct errors that have been circulated on the web and in publications until people erroneously accept them as truths. For instance, her Arthur McFalls is said to have had a wife, Delilah, but he did not. There was a Patrick McFalls in the same county, Burke County, who had a wife Delilah. When Patrick died, his son was bound out, proving him to be the son of Delilah and Patrick deceased. Also I have seen my Arthur McFalls identified as a Torie. His family seemed to side with the Tories, but he and his widow (second wife) drew pensions for his service for the Americans. Errors like this will be corrected as we all share information on our lineages.
