I've joined the project, but am in a group called "Ungrouped"?
Thank you for joining our project! It can take the admin's a few days to review your results and place your kit into a group
What is the "Cannot be Subgrouped" group?
Due to the European Unions' GDPR Law, Family Tree DNA changed many privacy settings to opt-in
In order for the project admin's to place you in the most accurate subgroup/subcluster possible, we need you to opt-in
to sharing coding region information in you Account Settings.
1 Select Account Settings -> Project Settings
2. Go into Group Project Administrator Access for the H5'36 mtGenome Project, and assign Limited rights to current admin's and
to all future Project Admin's Click Save
3 When your back on the Project Settings page, scroll to the bottom and under Coding Region, select opt-in Otherwise, admin's
can only see your HVR1 and HVR2 information

How do we refine our Haplogroup?
The NCBI's database GENBank, is the main database used to generate updated Haplotrees. If your DNA is in a "predicted subgroup" cluster and
you are willing to submit your Full mitochondrial results to GENBank, please message J Strickland
