Dette er et lokalprosjekt under Norgesprosjektet DNA.
Lokalprosjektene viser egne oversikter over testede Y-DNA og mtDNA-linjer ihvert område.

For å få mest mulig nytte å være med i prosjektet, bør du:

• først ha testet din Y-DNA eller mtDNA, med direkte farslinje eller morslinje tilbake til dette fylket
• gi administratorene tilgang på nivå Limited eller Advanced på ditt testkit

Hvem kan også bli med?

• Hvert test kit kan bli knyttet til det fylkesprosjekt hvor tidligste kjente ane kommer fra:
• Y-DNA test der direkte kjente farslinje stammer fra i Rogaland
• mtDNA-test der direkte kjente morslinje stammer fra i Rogaland
• Y-DNA test med utenlandsk opprinnelse som er kommet til dette fylket før ca 1801
• mtDNA-test med utenlandsk opprinnelse som er kommet til dette fylket før ca 1801
• testperson med direkte forfedre fra Rogaland, og som planlegger å oppgradere med en Y-DNA eller  mtDNA.
• testperson med direkte forfedre fra andre steder, men som har en sterk tilknytning til dette fylket, og som ønsker å følge dette prosjektet

This project is a regional project and part of the national Norway DNA project.
The regional project shows a list over tested Y-DNA and mtDNA-lines in the county.

To get the most benefit from participating in the project, you should:
  1. first join the Norway DNA project if you are not already a member
  2. have either your Y-DNA or mtDNA tested, with the direct father- or mother line back to this county
  3. give the project administrators Limited or Advanced access to the testkit

Who can also join?

Each test kit will join the county project where the earliest known direct ancestors are from:
  • Y-DNA test where the father's father's father-line originates in this county
  • mtDNA-test where the mother's mother's mother-line originates in this county
  • Y-DNA test with foreign origin that arrived in this county before ca 1801
  • mtDNA-test with foreign origin that arrived in this county before ca 1801
  • testperson with direct ancestors from this county, and who plan to upgrade with Y-DNA or mtDNA originating here
  • testperson with direct ancestors from elsewhere, but with a strong connection to this county, and wants to follow the project
