Please note that this project provides support ONLY for OLIVER men who have Y results.  It was designed as a SURNAME project, not a project that encompasses anyone with a person named Oliver in their lineage.  Support for Family Finder is not provided in any detail because each person must know their own family tree in great detail to be able to find the common ancestor with one of their matches.

A Y test of 37 markers is the recommended level.  Testing for more markers is only useful to refine family lines later, among the matches in your group.  When you join, please be sure to select "limited access" (preferred) or "full access" (optional) and not the default of "minimal".  The "minimal" option does not provide access to the group administrator or matching members and this is meant to be a joint effort or group surname project.
