About us
Recent DNA test results show a very close relationship between Enoch Enloe and Isaac Enloe of South Carolina. Many researchers felt these two men were brothers, the results lend strength to that conclusion.
These DNA test results also show a very close relationship between Abraham Enloe of Western NC, Enoch Enloe, and Isaac Enloe. This also lends strength to the conclusion that Abraham Enloe was a son of Enoch Enloe.
As of 6/15/2006, 25 marker test results have been received which indicate a very high probability that Hendricks Enloes of Colonial Maryland was the MRCA (most recent common ancestor) for these two participants.
My conclusion from these data, and the documented records:
It is most probable that all of the participants with matching results, or with a 1 step difference, are descended from the Hendricks Enloes line and our ancestors were from the Netherlands.
This pretty much discounts the old stories that our ancestors were original immigrants from Scotland.
