These groups are a very brief explanation of the Y-DNA results that are sub-grouped on the main Y-DNA charts in this project.

Family Group C:
This Family group is associated with a most distant probable ancestor who was Thomas Page, bc.1650, England and who emigrated to the Isle of Wight, VA around 1680. 
Thomas Page m. Alis (Alice?) Garrett. In some of the older Quaker records in the Isle of Wight, VA, it is spelled Yarrett.
At least three are descended from Abraham Page, b.c. 1716, possibly in co. Suffolk, Eng., m. a Mary and was in Wayne Co, N.C. just before 1740.
Abraham Page may in fact be a grandson of Thomas and Alice Page.

Family Group D:
Associated with the immigrant John Page of Haverhill, MA who emigrated from their ancestral home in 1635. 
He was the son of Thomas & Johan Baker who were m. Sept. 14, 1607 in Rattlesden, Co., Suffolk, Eng. 
John was supposedly b. in Worlingham, Co. Norfolk, Eng.
One has traced ancestry back to Thomas Page of Walpole, MA, who m. Sarah Robbins of Walpole.

Family Group E1:

Descended from John & Phoebe (Payne) Page who arrived in Boston in 1630 from Boxted, Co. Essex, England

Family Group E2:

Descended from Dr. John Page of Framingham and Sutton MA, d 1731, and sons John and Jonathan Page of New Fairfield CT.

Descended from Col. John Page, Gent. of Cco. Middlesex, Eng. Who arrived c. 1650 and lived in Williamsburg, VA.

Family Group G:
Descended from George & Sarah (Linsley) Page, Gent. of Branford, CT. who arrived c. 1662 from Shorne, Co. Kent, Eng.
Also the daughtered-out line of Thomas and Elizabeth (Felkin) Page of Mark Lane, London, and Saco, ME who d. there in 1645.

Family Group H: (This genealogy is under debate)
Three share a common Page ancestor with Samuel Page (b.c. 1770) of Smithville, Ontario, Canada, in the early 1800s. He m. Hannah Cornell.
Descendants of John Page (1750 - 1803) b: Bet. 1750 - 1756 d: Bet. July 28, 1803 - March 07, 1804 in Union Co, Laurens District, SC
.... +Anna (Hannah) 1756 - 1832 b: Bet. 1756 - 1759 d: Aft. July 1832 in Bibb Co, Alabama.
One who arrived in 1966 has traced his ancestry back to Edmund Page in the early 1600s in the area of Alverstoke, Co. Hampshire, Eng.
Anthony Brian Treacher traces his ancestry back to William Page, b. 1778 of Fulmodeston, Co. Norfolk, UK.
Chris John Page, lives in England, and traced his ancestry there to a John Page, b.c. 1760.
David Wayne Page traces his ancestry back to a Caleb Page, b. 1758 in Nottingham, West NH, whose father was probably Reuben Page, b. 1722.

Family Group J:
Associated with the line of Joseph Page of Monmouth, NJ, which is NOT part of the line of Robert Page of Ormsby St. Margarets, Co. Norfolk, Eng. who arrived in 1637.
His grandson, John, b. Nov. 15, 1672 went to Cape May, NJ; but died young.
# 60850 traces his ancestry to George Page, b. 1795 in Wingfield, Co. Suffolk, close to the border with Co. Norfolk, Eng.


Family Group P:
Most descended from Axcel Heath Page of King & Queen Co., V, followed by Goochland Co. VA, (d. 1780) or his close relative (brother or uncle) - 1754-1775.
Kit 10856 is descended from Thomas B. Page m. 12-05-1796 Bedford Co. VA
