"Project Pending" was created to allow customers to order a DNA test at the discount project rates if:
1) you have difficulty finding a suitable project
2) you are awaiting authorization to join a closed project.
If you are having trouble finding a project, you may also want to consider using the "Project Search" here http://www.familytreedna.com/projects.aspx to find a Geographical Project.
If you tested Y or mtDNA and are interested in your ancestral origins, click on "Manage projects" and look under Y-Haplogroup Projects or mt-Haplogroup Projects and choose the letter that is for your haplogroup.
Once you have found a project we encourage you to remove yourself from Project Pending.
If you are testing your Y-DNA, and there is no project that represents or includes your surname, you may want to start a new project. Click here for the application.
If you are adopted or donor-conceived, you may consider joining the Adopted Project.
