Kentucky was once a great frontier and a western county of Virginia. In 1792 it became the 15th state in the United States. Pulaski County formed in 1798 from Lincoln County, one of three original Kentucky counties, and from Green County. After the Revolutionary War, many veterans from Virginia received land grants and made their homes in Pulaski County. Use the panel to the left to select an option.
