Y5570 is a subclade of R1a haplogroup, in particular a branch under R-YP569 (“Veneds”). The most distribution of R-Y5570 is occurred in the Russian Federation and Ukraine but also found in such countries as Lithuania and Finland. The Project aims to investigate the possible origin, ways of migration and further downstream branches of Y5570.
