Oct 27, 2010: The WTY of kit #166326 has resulted in 4 new significant SNPs (PAGES00004, L381, M367.2, M368.2).

Sep 09, 2010: Officially, All M124+ (previously R2) are now R2a. The ISOGG tree has just been updated: ---- R2 (M479) -------- R2* -------- R2a (L266, M124, P249, P267)

May 15, 2010: The total number of SNPs found under Haplogroup R2 are 6! The SNPs are: L261, L263, L266, L288, L294, L295. You can see the location of these SNPs here: FTDNA's Phylogeny Draft Tree - Haplorgoup R2.

Jan 20, 2010: The second SNP under Haplogroup R2 has been discovered! SNP name: L263 which is also found on kit# E5125 by the WTY test.

Jan 10, 2010: The first SNP under Haplogroup R2 has been discovered! SNP name: L261 which is found on kit# E5125 by the WTY test. You can see this SNP on FTDNA's Phylogeny Draft Tree.

Nov 13, 2009: 3nd WTY sample (Kit# 34064) is under process. The sample represents the Jewish A cluster.

Nov 13, 2009: 2nd WTY sample (Kit# E5125) is sent to FTDNA. The sample represents the Armenian A / Greek cluster.

Nov 07, 2009: 1st WTY sample (Kit# 130481) is sent to FTDNA. The sample represents the Arab (Kuwait) cluster.
