All males who have SNP test or been predicted for Haplogroup R2 are welcome to join including R2 National Geographic Genographic Project participants. Please (this is critical!) be sure to check under CONTACT INFORMATION (on your results page) that you've entered the origin of your your oldest known ancestor in your tester's line. (Remember maternal means your mom's mom's mom's line--must be female!). Under PLOT ANCESTRAL LOCATION please enter your (tester's) oldest known ancestor's info--name, dates, origin. Be as specific as possible. We really hope you will test to 67-111 markers to make the most sense out of this project (may be done in stages if money is a problem). Please feel free to contact me with any questions and I will do my best to answer, but remember , I am a VOLUNTEER, and learning with you as we go along... I'll appreciate any help you may be able to offer in our mutual quest to learn the origins/development/diffusion/subclades of this Haplogroup.
