The Reno/Reneau DNA Project is individuals trying to connect with other members of the Reno/Reneau family throughout the world. Many have done so through this project and many will in the future. Though the years, many names have been used. In France and England “Reynaud” was used. When our ancestors arrived in the United States “Reno”, "Reneau”, “Renno”, “Rennow”, and “Reyno” were used. Our Y-DNA research involves deep clade studies that have placed our ancestors in the Pontic Steppe in what is now the Ukraine and Russia about 4,500 years ago.
