In the USA, the formal genetic signatures of immigrants Edward1 Riggs (to Roxbury, Mass. in 1633) and Thomas1 Riggs (to Gloucester, Mass. by 1658) have been established and published formally. Two marker positions, out of 67, flag the difference between the two related families. Two other slight variations indicate one or two other immigrants, probably to Maryland.
